Requirements for water park coatings on the base layer

The requirements for the base layer of water park coatings are the core guarantee of construction quality, and physical strength, surface condition and environmental adaptability need to be comprehensively considered. The following are standardized requirements based on industry standards and construction practices:
1. Physical performance requirements
concrete strength
The base concrete marking needs to be ≥C25, the thickness is not less than 150mm, the maintenance period is 28 days for new pools and more than 15 days for old pools after repairs 11013. Strength testing can use a rebound tester or on-site bonding strength test (recommended >1MPa)28.
Crack resistance and repair
Cracks in the base layer need to be opened &"V"-shaped groove (width ≥5mm), use polyurea elastic caulking glue or epoxy resin mortar to repair it in layers, and add 1-2 layers of glass fiber cloth to reinforce 1313. The holes need to be filled with anti-crack mortar, and the raised parts should be mechanically polished until they are smooth16.
2. Surface condition standards
Cleanliness and compactness
The base layer must be free of floating ash, oil stains, and release agent residues. Old pools must be thoroughly eradicated from the powdered layer and rinsed with high-pressure water. Oil stained areas must be cleaned with alkaline solvents. 213. The surface density must meet the original pulp lightening standard and there should be no loose particles110.
Flatness control
Use a 2m ruler to detect gaps in the base layer of ≤3mm, and use epoxy mortar to level local depressions. The roughness must meet the paint penetration requirements (Ra≤50μm) 268. The slope must comply with the drainage design to avoid water accumulation10.
3. Environmental adaptability indicators
Moisture content and dryness
The moisture content of the base layer needs to be < 10% (can be determined by using a moisture content meter or observing whether the surface is white). The newly poured concrete needs to be fully dried until the internal water evaporates213. Construction is prohibited before or after condensation, rain or snow13.
Expansion joints and node processing
Expansion joints need to be mechanically cut and cleaned to 10-15mm depth, use elastic waterproof caulking glue to seal, the periphery of the pipe, the inner and outer corners and other parts need to be reinforced with fiberglass cloth 1310.
4. Special scene supplements
Renovation of old base surface
If the base surface of the mosaic tiles falls off, the hollow layer must be completely removed. After repairing with epoxy resin, roughening treatment should be performed to enhance adhesion. 910. The old base surface of the oil-based paint needs to be polished until the concrete body 13 is exposed.
Environmental verification
Heavy metal migration test must be passed before construction. VOC testing (refer to GB 50325-2020) to ensure compliance with drinking water contact level environmental protection standards.
